Neighborhood Watch

Hello Everyone,

There has been a rash of problems in the neighborhood recently including burglaries and car break-ins.  We have recently been involved in the traffic calming initiative on Country Club, but were alerted about the apprehension of one suspect for the home break-ins.  Unfortunately, the car break-ins have not stopped.  We are currently considering setting up a neighborhood watch and patrol so we can report any suspicious activity to police.  You can read about the current police report on the apprehension of the suspect with help from neighbors in the development here.

If you are interested in helping us set up a neighborhood watch and patrol, please contact me at scasey@psre.com.  Once we have several people interested, I will contact the City Police and arrange a meeting to discuss it.

In the meantime, much thanks and credit to those who helped to apprehend the suspect and report the crime to police.  Please remain vigilant as we all want Fairfield to remain a safe place to live.

Fall Yard Sale

We don’t have anyone actively handling the yard sales anymore, so if anyone would like to volunteer to head them up please let us know.  In the meantime, West Branch will be having it’s Fall Yard sale on September 24.  They will be advertising in the paper.  If anyone in the neighborhood would like to have a yard sale, that might be a good date to consider.

Thanks,

Welcome to the New Fairfield Civic Association Website!

After a few years of working with the old program for our website and my recent experiences with websites, I have upgraded the website again.  I hope to have some additional information, including trying to get some posts done by residents on different items.  Stay tuned for more posts soon!
